So, the book of Genesis is a musical... It's amazing how influential religion is on the world of music. Just refer to every grammy/CMT/MTV award winner's speech. They would like to thank god for giving them the ability to create what is most likely the equivalent of producing what sounds like every other piece of shit out there today. How blessed they are to be like everybody else. How blessed they are to be taking complete advantage of the masses without them being smart enough to realize it's actually happening.
Who would Buddha like to thank? Would he like to thank the universe? Would he thank anybody?
He wouldn't even accept an award. Why should a person receive an award for doing their job? If you are an entertainer, you should realize that you are in that business to do just that: Entertain. Unfortunately, it's become just that: a business. The world of music has become something that it wasn't meant to be. Music is something that is meant to be shared between people. Most of what is being put out there couldn't even be considered as music. All of the "music" that is produced sounds like everything else that is out there, and the people who are doing something different are getting caught in the tidal wave of shit.
When is comes down to it, if I want to hear a musical about Buddhism, I'm either going to have naked women dancing with him, or I'm going to have to write it myself.

The Teddy Bear. The ultimate form of unconditional love, compassion, and safety. When kids are little, they find sanctuary in this piece of fabric stuffed with cotton. This safety net is something that helps us grow up with a sense of security. It takes away our fears, and gives us light, warmth, and happiness. This bear is the symbol of safety. It represents the innocence of childhood. Something that has long since been forgotten in our older years. To put your entire trust into an object, a friend, is something that has also been forgotten. We, as people, need to remember the innocence of our childhood. The memories of the past can/will be the tools that we can utilize to influence the future.
Throughout time, I've found that there are very few, if any universal truths.
If ever there was one, it is this:
You can tell how society is doing by analyzing their toilets.
True story.
Today, you'll find that you won't find anything other than an automatic toilet in most public areas. One might argue that the automatic toilet is an excellent innovation that promotes sanitary conditions. This isn't so. The automatic toilet has become an excuse to be incredibly lazy. That's how people are today. They are lazy.
People are kind enough to provide other people with a place to relieve themselves, and what do they do? They deface it! They carve obscenities onto the walls! Little shits...It's ridiculous how people can piss everywhere around the toilet. Wherever they feel like it. They are dirty, filthy, and disgusting. Toilets have gone from being manual to automatic in a matter of years. Just think how they will develop in the future.
